rotten apple

"rotten apple"

rotten apple? i do not know yet what this has to do with the story im about to write, but i'll let you know when it does.

Chapter 1
The Beginning

Once, there was a wicked witch. A nasty old witch i must say. She ruled the kingdom of Karul Pathe Ba Isle for thousands of years. She would behead any that dares to cross her. No one would defy the wicked witch. Until now.....

North to the kingdom of Karul Pathe Ba Isle, sperated by the Great Walls of Obay, lies before a magnificent city of Ged Dung Deh. The city, ruled by the people, lived in harmony for many years. In the Zouk or market place you could see, carpenters, carving beautiful art works, blacksmiths, producing weapons with precision that could not be matched by any other, and to top it all of, food makers or Reyes de Alimentos as they would like to be known, make delicacies that could satisfy your taste buds for a life time. These were some of the traits that the Witch envied as she could only see in awe. Awe indeed, she has other plans instead, a plan to annex Ged Dung Deh into her empire and enslave the people living there.....

Eventhough Ged Dung Deh was ruled by the people, there was a special group of wise men, and women that keeps the city intact. They were called the Guardians of Op Den. They can see the future, they can see the past, and they can certainly see through your eyes. The Guardian of the First Order was Endein, a kind-hearted, down to earth sorceress. She had a prophecy of a man, carrying a birthmark, killing the Witch and ending her reign of tyranny. But this foretold prophecy was missing one key component, a face.....

Far from the bustling city of Ged Dung Deh, on a remote village at the end of The Great Walls of Obay, lies Tub Agus. A population of just over 200 citizens, of mostly farmers and blacksmiths, makes Tub Agus an easy target of bandits from the east. Zur, the son of farmers Jazm and Rohn, is a hardworking boy, but always his curiosity lands him in trouble. One day, on an eve of a silent autumn night, the village was attacked. Zur and his family managed to escape. But the damage was done. The village was left in agonizing proportion. Crops, had been stamped on by horses, live stocks had been killed, and the foods for the coming winter had been stolen. As they try to salvage what they could, Zur stumbled upon a secret passage beneath the food warehouse and curiously, without a hint of a doubt, cautiously ventured into. Abu Haj, a good but clumsy friend of Zur's since their childhood years, was always the one who looks out for him. When he saw Zur entering the passage, he grabbed a lamp and came running after. As he entered the passage, he stumbled upon a wooden debris. He fell and took out Zur altogether.....

They came tumbling down and stumbled upon an old chamber. It was a dusty old chamber but they could see something shining at the end of it. As they appproach it, it became obvious that it was a sword. Zur, hesitantly pulled out the sword out of its compartment and there and then he saw an ancient writing on it, "
la espada de la vida. este es tu destino.". As both could not understand the language, they decided to seek help. One after another, no one in the village could translate it. Jazm, felt it was better for his son to venture off in search of the meaning as he knew because of his sons' curious nature, he we not let go of it. Abu Haj insisted of going with him. Together, they set off on a journey into the unknown. Little did Zur know, that this, for that moment in time was the start of his legacy, his prophecy, his destiny.....

and the legend begins.....

you! you! you! and you! ya, you!

tik tok, tik tok..time flies by, but im still stuck in this hell hole..

a friend of mine once told me that one way to release stress is to write..write? *sigh*

im a shitty writer..i do not know how to express my feelings, not only in writing, but in any other ways possible..

this is how i usually start a blog..

i write, "i .....(backspace), i think.....(backspace), good afternoon readers.....(click (x) to close firefox).....(click "shutdown").....

pathetic ain't it? ya, i know..you don't have to agree to that though.. =P

so, how should i really start an entry? should i start with a simple "hello, hye, or what's up!"? or should i start with a "BanG!!"? like, yo! yO! Yo! dudes, dUdeTes! what'S up with The WorLd yo?" (a bit over the top, i might say)..huhu..i guess, keep it simple? =D

then? was that the hard part? for me, hell yeah!..haha..now, the things i wanna write..philosophies! fantasies! experiences! ideas! and all other *Bits & Pieces* i've been dying to share with the world! (sounds like much, but believe me, over over over exaggerated!)..

BUT!!

the only problem is, these so called philosophies, fantasies, expriences, ideas, and bits & pieces, vanishes, once i touch these so called keyboard! so, what do i do? i post shitty, irrelevant, boring, *Bits & Pieces*..how do bloggers manage to keep their ideas fresh and immune to the power of the keyboard? (ZaPp ZaPP~~)..The Keyboard: Tomb of the Keyboard Emperor..A's and Z's: Revenge of Keyboard Galore..Lord of The Keyboard: Return of the Kingboard..(guess what movies i've been watching lately) hehe..

(is this a hint? wait? can it? yup! mama, ayah, new laptop please! *wink* *wink* hahahahahahaha *devilish laugh*)

ok..the "closing speech"..Your honour, i have in my opinion...bla..bla..bla..bla..bla..booooring~..so, how do u guys do it? a simple ending to match a simple opening? or the opposite? well, IMO, it doesn't matter how u close, or how u open, how u express your feelings, ideas, bits & pieces, at the end, what appeals most, keeps your readers happy, understands current agendas, even the most irrelevant entry, stands out..

but i do hope, readers, and self confessed full time bloggers, or even anybody might give me tips on how to write a good blog..hehe..thank you in advance..ThAnKS!

p/s: i think i need a catch phrase..should i? haha..u tell me..

Gone Too Soon

tonight when i looked up to the skies,
i saw no stars,
i knew straight away, that,
even the brightest and most beautiful stars mourn for you.

maybe tomorrow when i look up again,
it'll be filled with stars shining,
and maybe, just maybe,
yours will be up there, smiling.

i knew a cancer patient, she fought bravely until the end....
this is a way of remembering her...

Amirah A. (4.5.1985 - 26.10.10), you will always be remembered...

Einstein's Riddle

the Einstein's Riddle is a well-known Logic Puzzle..

the puzzle/riddle goes a little bit like this..

  1. There are five houses.
  2. The Englishman lives in the red house.
  3. The Spaniard owns the dog.
  4. Coffee is drunk in the green house.
  5. The Ukrainian drinks tea.
  6. The green house is immediately to the right of the ivory house.
  7. The Old Gold smoker owns snails.
  8. Kools are smoked in the yellow house.
  9. Milk is drunk in the middle house.
  10. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
  11. The man who smokes Chesterfields lives in the house next to the man with the fox.
  12. Kools are smoked in a house next to the house where the horse is kept.
  13. The Lucky Strike smoker drinks orange juice.
  14. The Japanese smokes Parliaments.
  15. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.

Now, who drinks water? Who owns the zebra?

In the interest of clarity, it must be added that each of the five houses is painted a different color, and their inhabitants are of different national extractions, own different pets, drink different beverages and smoke different brands of American cigarettes. In statement 6, right refers to the reader's right.

Einstein said "only 2 percent of the world's population can solve it."..so, what are you people waiting for..prove yourself to be the brightest 2 percent of the world's population..

To Jakarta and Back

Train Station 2, originally uploaded by iudzuri.

well, the title said it all..haha..not quite actually..it was part of it atleast..hehe

Train Trip

anyway, me and my 2 friends went for a so called "day trip" to Jakarta Fair in Jakarta, by train..fyi, a first for me..nearly 5 years in Bandung, i never set foot in a train station before..haha..truthfully, it was quite a delightful journey..the seats were surprisingly comfortable and spacious..but the most surprising, was it left ON TIME! (salute!)..

there was a family of five sitting in front of me..the kids was somewhat 'active' from the moment we came onboard..along the way, there was many beautiful views, but i couldn't portrait any because someone was sitting next to me by the window..actually he wasn't only sitting, he was basically 'hogging' the window side..hehe..after an hour journey, he slept off, i managed to take a few picts..i, myself slept off after a few shots..haha..

zzZzZzzz~

when i woke up, the kids in front of me was still playing! and now they were actually on 'overdrive!'..haha..i think their parents managed to overdose the kids with glucose! or caffeine! hehe..upon reaching Jakarta, left and right, i could only see concrete jungles..no more greenery..when the door opened, a sudden breeze of hot air can be felt..Jakarta was hot and humid! very different to Bandungs' cool and breezy weather..hehe..

Jakarta Fair

on arrival, all i could think of was "where was the ATM? need money!" hehe.."kecing $$$!!, kecing $$$!!"..money checked! now off to shop for some stuffs..i already had some things to buy in mind (futsal shoes, football boots, and jerseys and maybe some other sports stuffs)..i went straight to the sporting goods department..i was utterly disappointed with what was on offer..3 kinds of jerseys, few football boots, NO futsal shoes, and loads of "LEAGUE" rubbish..by the way "LEAGUE" is a brand..hehe..we went to find for other sporting outlets, and it was the same, filled with "LEAGUE" rubbish..haha..i tried on a few boots, and i managed to find one that i liked..it was a Nike Air Legend II FG, and it was on discount..original price (Rp1.5 juta = rm600) - 80% discount = rp300k! (rm120)..cheap!! huhu..it was the highlight of the my trip.........until.........tadaa! i met RONALDINHO! haha..at first i thought so, but it turned out to be his long lost brother from Indonesia, RONALDIKIN! hehe..

Trip Back to Bandung

after a long day at Jakarta Fair, a day filled with first's, laughter, disappointments, and "capek-ness" (tiredness), we went back by train to Bandung..the journey back was totally the opposite from the journey to Jakarta..it was dark outside, no kids playing, and we were all too tired to worry about our surroundings that we dozed off as soon as the train started to move..

toot, tooot, toooooot~ (the horns for the train)

we arrived in Bandung around 12 at night, took a cab (very very nice seasoned taxi driver, may God bless him) reached home, bathe, tried to watch the World Cup match between Ghana and the US, but i was in dreamland, halfway through the game..hehe..

all in all, i had one of the best 'day trip' as long as i could remember, despite the ups and downs..special thanks to my 2 friends..thanx guys!

AWESOME TRIP!

The New Arsenal Away Kit

well, this is the new arsenal fc 2010/2011 season away kit..

first impression:
  • wow! nice poster! hehe
second impression:
  • i like the yellow and maroon combination..easy on the eyes..
  • but it reminds me of a certain Liverpool away kit few seasons back..
  • nevermind that, what concerns me is whether this new poster with fabregas in it, is a good sign of him staying or what not..hopefully he stays!!
  • thinking of ordering the new away kit, but waiting for the home kit to be revealed..
neway, dats bout it..i like the new away kit, n hope the home kit will be more stunning..

i'll give it an 8/10 for now..rating may increase/decrease, depends on the new home kit~ huhu..

go arsenal! hehe..

Clash of the Titans

Clash of the Titans
the review

Synopsis:

In Clash of the Titans, the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

My Verdict:

The true definition of mediocrity. This film was really slow. I dozed off in the middle of the movie, and fyi, never do I fall asleep in action films, EVER!. None of the characters were at all interesting!! (except for the 2 brothers at the beginning who volunteered). The script was awful, the scenes were weird (especially when the gods meet), even when there were actions, it didn't even "wowed" me (except when they released the kraken). The gods seemed "powerless" and "tiny". The only part that rescued the movie from total disaster was when they released the KRAKEN!! (really wished the kraken had destroyed Argos). Graphically, i liked how Pegasus looked.

Ratings:

Action: ** (2/10)
Graphics: **** (4/10)
Plot: **** (4/10)
Actors: **** (4/10)
Music: ****** (6/10)

Overall: ****(4/10)

If I Was The Manager

i must admit i didnt feel anything at first but felt disgusted later at the way Arsenal played against wigan..especially the last 15minutes..they lost 3-2!! they led 2-0!! they conceded 3 in the last 15! hurmm, too much for me to digest..anyway, if Wenger was to be replaced and,

If I Was Appointed The New Manager of Arsenal FC

my team would probably look like this:

Joe Hart

Sagna Vermaelen Zapata Clichy

Song

Nasri Fabregas Arshavin

Villa Van Persie

Sub: Almunia, Eboue, Gallas, Sakho, Diaby, Walcott, Rosicky, Bendtner, Chamakh

Firstly, a good goal keeper is needed.. Joe Hart is Good, no, he's brilliant and with BPL experience at such a relatively young age, he'll be my no.1!

2. Zapata and Sakho - Tall, strong, and quick! both to compliment Vermaelen.

3. I dont see any weakness in the midfield. With General Fabregas bossing the midfield, no changes are needed.

4. Villa and Chamakh - Positioning: excellent, Pace: good, Finishing: excellent (with the midfield feeding the forwards with defence splitting passes, these 3 attributes is what is needed)

quite a balanced team i might say..dont need total overhaul..just the few here and there and next year arsenal will be competing for the title with ease..
